There is a lot going on this week! Tuesday is 100^{th} Day! Students are encouraged to come to class dressed as if they are 100 years old. On Wednesday, we will have a guest speaker talk to our class about inventing and innovating, and on Thursday we will have a virtual meeting with Mr. Tom (our docent from the Houston Museum of Natural Science).

Due Wednesday – Use spelling words in sentences; practice poem; practice math strategies

Due Thursday – Secret code spelling; practice poem; practice math strategies

Due Friday – Spelling boxes; practice poem; practice math strategies

Weekend homework – practice poem; practice math strategies; finish technology interview

In **reading**, we will continue reading *The Courage of Sarah Noble* together.

In **language arts,** we will continue writing reports.

**2 ^{nd} Grade math** will work on adding three addends.

**3 ^{rd} Grade Math** will continue working on rounding to the nearest 10 and nearest 100

In **Social studies,** each student will write a report about a different inventor.

In **science** this week, we will learn about the process of invention and innovation.
