Week of January 21-24

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend!
Junior school accelerated math will move into volume this week. Last week’s surface area test will go home Tuesday with corrections due Wednesday. Level math will start their week with their test on Equations and Inequalities and then move into Algebraic Representation. In Texas History, we will continue learning about Spain’s struggle to hold onto Texas. Students can anticipate a test next Tuesday.
4th and 5th grade will continue to dive into fractions as this week will begin adding and subtracting with like and unlike denominators. Please continue to drill multiplication facts at home with your students. The more confidently they can identify the least common multiple, the better off they will be. In social studies, students will continue their unit on civics and test next Wednesday!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
