It’ll be a busy week as we approach Spring Break! In 6th grade this week, we will complete our expression unit with a test on Friday. Students will have homework on Monday and Tuesday as well as a study guide that will be worth extra credit for their test. In World History, we will conclude our study of Greece with a unit test on Thursday.
4th grade will work on their academic vocabulary with fractions and understanding unit fractions and equivalency. 5th grade will begin their study of expressions by also increasing their academic vocabulary and discussing order of operations and its importance. 4th and 5th grade can anticipate math homework on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make sure your students are reviewing their multiplication facts consistently as well! In U.S. History, we will begin our unit on the American Revolution.
